Earth Renewal Capacity

The planetary (with which we mean the Earth’s) capability to regenerate biomass and ecosystems over time. According to the Global Footprint Network, we are currently globally using 1.4-1.7 times what the Earth could renew, and are thus living on the planetary reserves.
