Civilization, current

The currently predominant structure of human activity on Earth. Politically, it is divided into around 200 recognised and unrecognised political entities formally responsible for laws on the planet, culturally it is composed of eight to nine nodes of different cultures, financially it is near universally characterised by one global system characterised by debt, interest and a compulsion for exponential economic growth. This system could be called capitalistic, but we define capitalism as one of its tenets, while the core of the system’s functionality is the nature of money.
